A SURVEY AND ANALYSIS OF MANET’S ENHANCING SECURITY TECHNIQUES AND ROUTING PROTOCOLS

Abstract

Ad hoc Networks (MANETS) are transient networks of mobile nodes, connected through wireless links, without any fixed infrastructure or central management. Mobile Adhoc Network is a dynamic network formed by a collection of wireless nodes. As it is a dynamic network all the nodes involved in the network must play the role of a router at some point of time. Due to the self- configuring nature of these networks, the topology is highly dynamic. In this  aper, we survey the common security threats, attacks and summarize the solutions  suggested in the survey to mitigate these security vulnerabilities and enhancingsecurity techniques and routing protocols for MANET.
