Abstract

In each and every industrial sector all machine and machine system components are critical and their maintenance is of prime importance. It’s the need of the hour to minimise machine breakdown and to enhance the overall availability. In the present case study, the data has been collected from a paint manufacturing plant, situated in northern  part of India. The data includes Monthly Operating Time (Hours), Down Time, number of failures. In the present work data of machines namely Thermopac and Twin Shaft Disperser have been evaluated and Weibull analysis was conducted to evaluate the reliability of machines.
