SURVEY ON FOREST FIRE DETECTION PROCESS IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK

Abstract

Forest and rural fires are one of the main causes of environmental degradation in Mediterranean countries. Existing fire detection systems only focus on detection, but not on the verification of the fire. However, almost all of them are just simulations, and very few implementations can be found. Every year, thousands of forest fires across the world occurs and cause disasters in the environment system including losses huge spaces of green area , thus, there is a realistic need for finding a solution to eliminate the impact of the forest fires.
